Em can't wave else BB either traps them in a hostile and shells them (like we've seen in almost every other top conflict so far this age) or BB uses the forced cf to dump their pool and pump into it for the rest of the week, neither of which is a good ending for Emeriti. BB can't wave emeriti cos of the nw diff, plus if it goes to cap then Emeriti will press that button all day with a smile on their faces. Meantime BB are sitting there with undertrained def, so eventually someone else will come along and wave them for their acres.
This entire "conflict" is just going to end up a non-event with BB eventually either farming out or going to "war" with someone else, leaving Emeriti sitting there trained up and fuming at having their time wasted for so long.
My vote is zzzzzzzz
The unintended (I hope) consequences of the mechanics changes have made uto a game where competitive people delay engagement for fear of allowing others to grow. So the game now appears to be get big and then try to control growth in a manner more akin to yacht racing than combat.
While I love my J 35, sailing is more about being and doing than siming.
Well in the old days when you’ve been in the #1 position for more than half the age and someone gets into your range you could wave and take a lot of acres, war, or cf with acres. Right now it’s possible to get a free 1 week cf and give up minimal land (or even gain land) or trap someone in a never ending hostile like 4:15 did to 7:6. Right now being bigger and stronger doesn’t mean much when the other kd would never war.
That’s one thing I personally would like to see changed because you can work hard all age to achieve a top position then someone can get a lucky war and while you are stronger there is not a lot that you can do with autocf, throttling, etc.
Yes, that is the other danger.
The new changes work great for people who don't care at all about chart position. I think it works a LOT worse for people who do.
If we decided that ranking means nothing and just hit whatever whenever and are completely random with respect to who finishes in the top slot, this system is great.
Also RKDNW protection with land gains is OP.
Must be most intense active conflict I ever seen though. So much action going on.
The difference there is, there was a staring contest that was going to end in a conflict. This one is not. Emeriti just is going to stare at us to control. If they engage there is risk. So why would they risk it? Right?
This is officially the lamest (though I don't disagree on the tactic from a "seeking victory" approach) and most boring end of an age EVER. (imho).
Isn't there always risk to engage? That's why the staring contest happened last age, except BB was in the stronger position.
I don't think anyone would argue it's to the fault of mechanics, and they seriously need to be addressed. The 2 ages I've been back have made for very boring conflicts because of mechanics
More like week 4 or 5...

Is this even a hostile? 6 hits in 3 days. Youre joking right...
