Tom/zulu says I need to respect this opinion and that's ok. Am I offbase here? Are these comments fine? Is this the type of moderation and acceptance of things in the utopia community now?

Imagine demanding someone apologize for calling you a racist because they provided 5 quotes of you that only perfectly fit the dictionary definition of racism, rather than the legal definition (Which applies differently everywhere, if at all), and then continuing as if everything is fine and you “won” the exchange. (Then bringing in terms like "slander" and "libel" which have very specific legal definitions that wouldn't apply since the evidence was... evident... but that's just an aside)

Then everyone seems to go on as if this racism is fine as long as it isn't "legally defined" racism, whatever the **** that means, and this individual is qualified to discuss racial disparity and other such topics.
