With no modifications how much science do you increment per hour?
I think the flat rate is about 8%, isn't it?
I think 7.5% but haven't checked for a few ages so may have mis-remembered.
You can check on your own province fairly easily. Rev is +30% and then you have your labs effect on the building page and you know any racial bonus. So if you check what you actually generate in 1 hour, then you can reverse out those other factors and get close to the answer (rounding may mean it won't be exact if you just look at 1 hour).
They used to say 1.5-2 scientitst per day, so I go with 1.75/24 = 0.0729 / tick

The 1.5-2 is from munk, but its also left over from when generation was 'random' and i believe they tried stated they tried to keep the rate more or less the same... 7.5 would make totaly sense too, i havent tested directly watching the generation, but i feel like the numbers come off multiple of 7.5 eventually, could have been labs or rev tricking me tho certainly

Yep, can confirm it's 7.5. I recall doing the math somewhere, either in a thread or in a chat group with my KD. I'll link it when I find it.

anybody know what the MAX sci rate per tick is? would it be worth it to go 30% Labs + Revelation ? or more like 20% labs + Revelation ?
someone in my kd said the cap is 20% sci/tick.
max you can get from labs would be +95% according to wiki, although it should take 50% of your acres at 100% BE to do that.
right, sorry, as below BE is not a factor, forgot this carried over from libraries or whatever.
Labs are not affected by BE, and I believe you hit cap around 40% typically.
So the max you can get per tick is around 19 as a non-human and about 23.7 as a human, with capped Labs and Revelation cast. I have not heard of a hard cap at 20%/tick, but it is always possible.
I don't think there's a hard cap other than the one created by maxing everything
I've forgotten the exact max for labs now - it's a bit less than 40 i think. In any case I wouldn't bother going to max labs as (like any DBE building) the additional effects are very small when you get that high.
