I developed my own based off Ethan's as well... I've used a spreadsheet I developed myself to build each province. More than just military "Power" I've made some attempts to account for attack times, gains, and even some TM rankings... They are fairly simplistic but I think it gives a decent idea.

Let me know if there is anything that you don't understand, or if I'm just totally off the mark!
%Max^3 is the product of the Military Power / NW %Max * the BE %Max * the Attack time %Max (G/L)
^3WT, ^4WT are the product of %Max (%max from each group of stats are multiplied together) T weighted and W Weighted are calculated using ^3WT * ( [ 1 - the %max of the opposite discipline (T vs W) ] / 2 )
EDIT: Just for some reference, here is a link to an image of how this ranking stacked up last Age https://image.ibb.co/k73rXa/Ranking71.jpg

How is %Max for Undead with 50% converted lower than Undead with 90% spec off?
EDIT: Oh, NW.
One note -- since gains are based on land this age (mostly), high NW is actually a good thing.
EDIT 2: Meaning...per NW is not as valid. An easier calculation would be (sort of) which races will have the highest NW per acre.
-
true! didnt even think about the new gains system, honestly. Perhaps that stat could be inverted... I will ponder this

This is interesting RattleHead. I am struggling with the fact it uses 0 science. Although that makes the maths easier, it's a bad assumption because there is only 3 hours in the entire age that we have 0 science. If you change the science - for an extreme example let's say to 100% - I would expect the results to change.
Also on thievery/magic, why do the races have different amounts of homes?
-
OK I switch the NW efficiency to work the other way around... That column now has the LOWEST NW / Military Power as its "100%" .... Also noticed I had some transposition errors on my NWPA numbers... so here is what it looks like updated;

I have 0 science mostly to see what the raw races look like compared to each other. I also have this sheet set up so that I can do the maths with 50% of Sci caps, or Max Sci, or anything in between, and certainly the numbers do change (from what I recall from this last Age, Dwarf has the most to gain via science)... I'll try to do one with some science included later today
The different levels of homes on TMs is because I anchored them around a target DPA (80% of the max Raw OPA above) ... To reach these DPA numbers with 25% Forts, each race has different requirements, given BE, Military power, and population perks/penalties...
IE The Halfer and Dwarf can reach this DPA on less homes because of Halfers pop bonus, and Dwarfs BE bonus... Faery has pop penalty, but has 10pt def, so it doesn't require as many units to get the defence up, as the Elf, who has same defence strength as Halfling, but no Population bonus, (hence the highest homes).
-
trying to understand.. so as an attacker overall.. Dwarf is now top?
-
In raw numbers pure elite dwarf would be strong but remember as pure elite you wouldn't be able to send every elite out due to having to leave some for defense. They will also be the hardest to ambush due to the elite being 8/9
-
I think its fair to say that Dwarf is not the apex attacker this Age, they claim tops on that previous list mostly because they have a high NW per military power... which the more im thinking about isnt a good measure.
I am looking for feedback to improve my calculations, if possible... I am thinking i might be better off to rate the Military Power strictly based on practical Military Power (pMP), which is usable offence + def at home while army is out. rather than including NW at all, given the new system (even tho NW is still apparently a factor)
and HERE is what that looks like... sorry this thread is getting out of control lol;
https://image.ibb.co/fG41YF/Ranking.jpgI think this looks a bit more like what I would imagine for this Age.
I will start plugging away on ones with science, and add a more converted UD as well
-
Ok here is one with some Science, and I added an Undead with 75% converted offence. I also changed the BE %Max on TMs to factor in the amount of Homes they are using.

Thanks to those who had some input so far... much appreciated

Thanks for adding the science. Which sciences are you including? I can see pop, and BE. Military? Thievery and magic (although see my next comment)?
Also, in the magic and thievery sections, do these represent pure T/Ms? If so, it seems odd that they don't take into account tpa or wpa? If I am understanding this right, you are assuming they all have 12 RAW tpa/wpa - so that completely ignores the thievery/magic mods (although they are listed in your spreadsheet, but then not actually used from what I can see).
This seems to apply to the top section too, albeit the results are skewed less as the numbers are lower.
Also, would it be possible to see faery and hafling in the top section?

I can see about doing Halfer and Fae attackers, I had removed them once Halfer Ospec was reduced.
100% science means everything is capped. the 12 rTWPA i just split evenly over thief and wizard population for purposes of this sheet... Having 12 rTWPA is just an estimate on my part of how much population a TM will generally dedicate to T+M, so that I can work out BE and mDPA after those are accounted for. Sure someone could be 11:1, or 1:11- thats up to the player, and I don't think its relevant in this comparison. The same is true for the attacker rTWPA I don't know why I listed them separately for attackers, but it is just so I can work out BE, and how much population is left for military purposes.
I have not ignored the TM mods, the Ops*Dmg, and Mana*dmg column is the product of the 3 columns left of it, and %maxW/T compares them vs the race with the highest set of mods. same as above with attackers, there IS that extra column that divides by 1 because Orc no longer gives 10% extra gains...
