Is there any point coming back?

Hey all,

Love the fact that this game is still going!

I played a least 15 ages sometime between 2002 and 2006, and it was amazing. I also had 3 or 4 ages about 3 years ago, probably the best run i ever had.

For one reason or another, life changes, didnt have enough time to log in, or not getting on with the tools (Utopia Angel was always my favorite!), i lost my way. But i have always kept an eye on the forums, and taken a small interest in whats what.

The player base is so small now, and it kinda sounds like if you dont land in a halfway decent KD then there's little point nowadays.

Can you people persuade me im wrong? Id love to come back, but it seems like im just going to end up running a ****ty prov in a ****ty KD with little hope of doing anything fun.

Hope the game continues regardless, had so much fun here!

There are still plenty of fun ways to play! Although you are right that Ghettoland is not one of them. Find a smart + active KD, still several about

I'd say the opposite to OP. You may have gathered kds can invite people now. Most kds are looking to recruit between ages and many recruit throughout the age too.

Basically there is space in decent kds if you are active etc.

I can't speak for the very top tier (which is a handful of kds now) but my perception is even they don't have massive waiting lists to join (for example I've received a few unsolicited in game messages asking me if I want to join).

So if that is your only concern yeah go for it.

Btw angel doesn't exist now. There is a new formatter going which is basically the same but you don't need it as the game has incorporated much of the functionality. There is a very good chrome extension that adds almost all of the rest of angels functionality into the game if you want it.

Any thoughts on how good the apps are?

As of a few ages ago when I last used the app - if you have android then excellent. I thunk the iPhone one was not as good -perhaps it is better now. Tjere are forum threads about each app stickied.

Im blessed/cursed with iOS, so would be good to hear how those users are getting on with it.

Does it allow you to put in percentages for builds, what about attacks, or spells?

I don't use the app personally, but I do play from my Iphone when I am out and about, Safari is ho hum, and sometimes a pain casting spells, but everything else works fine. I solved that by downloading the Chrome app and playing from there. With Umunk, your intel auto fill is a breeze, and it's no different than playing from your desktop :D

On topic, if you want to play, play. The recruitment forum is there if you don't want to play around in ghetto land, as others have said.

You sound like the type that wants everybody else to be active, do the work, and win for you.
It has not changed. Activity still wins.
