Spartans Vs. Ascension

I was kinda looking forward to watching this war, thought it would be a good one. A large Spartan province seems to have been Mehuled before war began, Snatching news, looks like ascension sent two dragons within minutes of each other both without relations, seems like a big screwup, or were you just trying to get rid of gold so it couldn't be stolen?

Ascension seems to have a large upper-hand in war with the Spartan province getting deleted, but I'll give Spartans credit as they know how to war.

It was intentional to send the first, it was not intentional to send the second. However, if it looks like we were trying to dump gold so it couldn't be stolen then by all means bask in our brilliance. :p

Wont be much excitement this war. Sparta has suffered multiple pks over the last few weeks that made this war almost a sure win for ascension, and now with the last minute loss of another prov we are really hurting. Ascension is a great war kd and would have to really mess up and do something totally stupid like sending multiple dragons with out relations for sparta to have any chance (J/K we still dont have a chance haha). With 24 provs and 4 of those provs having just restarted its a 20 vs 25 pumped battle, our 4 just oop attackers wont be winning this for us.

But even a losing war is better than no war, so we are still grateful to ascension for giving us some fun even though its gonna hurt like hell!

It was nice to see Spartans follow through with the war even after the player removal. Takes a big brass pair to go in less pumped, down 1 player, and with a few recently restarted provinces. Looking forward to punching it out for a few days or longer. I know we both just really wanted to get a war in before EoA so I'm glad to see it came to fruition.

It's been quite fun so far, can't wait to see who comes out on top. Both sides have some opportunities. Spartans are a good group. :)

Ascension are a very strong and fun bunch of people to play with. Nice and exciting war. Land exchanges dont reflect LL, and they are landlusting a fair bit back too, due to superior wpa.

When Ascension gives a button like they did there is always going to be a major push by spartans that first wave. Definitely can't judge much by that initial summary.
