MonsterS vs. FLUFFY vs. Jist the Tip

Just wanting to share a really good war I just had with my kd, against 6:10, which we won against the odd's.. Hopefully I wont be excecuted by my monarch for sharing this with you all.. ;)

So we came out of a failed war with 3:15, I just moved back to MonsterS after a short spell with another warring kd, and created midage.

After the war with 3:15, we had the ussual EOWCF, and 2 days of fortified.. When we came out we started to get hit alot from some kd's that were much bigger, 7:16 did a mini wave into us, and directly after that we recieved a full wave from Fluffy, who was 5 million larger at that time.

We decided it wasnt a fair fight, and CF'ed them.

Then later that day, we recieved a full wave from 6:10 "Jist the tip". Who were at the time and (after their wave) 1 million larger in net, us having half our armies out, trying to recoup some acres from taking 2 and a quater wave, plus randoms, decided that we'd try to take them on, even though they had a considderable n/w lead.

So we declared, thinking that they might didnt expect us too, and hoping that making a full wave OOW, would give us an edge declaring then waving back.

So we basically had a nice 6 days war, them having 4-5 big dwarf heretics, which we couldnt touch without opening up too much..

We started out by max gaining, because we were short on acres, taking those waves pre war.

They switched to chaining before we did, bringing down some of our attackers, while we kept on semi chains for a little while, then we switched to chaining too..

the n/w diff. was swinging back and forth, them sending an Saphire after a few days, which we slayed promptly.. And after a while, we managed to send them our Ruby, which started turning the tide, while also UD and Orc, showed to have better sustain, than their Human/avian core.

So we slowly started working our way from the 800k nw diff. after our wave, and worked it all the way down to 200k diff. them initially losing their barrier, while we managed to renew ours, proved to be a turning point, as we were already slowly working on the dward heretics, the dragon made us able to train and gain n/w, instead of like the first 4 days of war where we funded the 21 million it took for the ruby.

We started breaking and doubling the dwarfs, and had our largest undead buff up offense to break them, while he did, they decided to keep armies home to do a last n/m then chain wave on him, retaking 2600 acres, before surrendering.. Pretty nice job from both sides

Eating a bunch of waves before was no fun, but that was a really fun war.

We've given Pike the new nickname of Spanky for his ridiculous prov name ;) good war though

Nice win. Though Monsters abuse Undead and War Hero low NW to gain advantage over opponent pre war and they have done it for ages. When you see you are ahead of them in NW and think they are fat you are actually behind in reality. Thus the semi max gain strategy in the beginning of war to convert leets.

Its part of the mechanics and how the game runs, we pick random race setups.. You call it abuse, are you stupid?? Everybody can choose the same thing, so its eqaual for all.. We won vs KD's 2 mill larger, with MUCH higher offense AND defense Per acre..

Many war's like this we go into unprepared or already having taking a beating of 1-2 larger KD's, so get your facts straight

Also we have had nearly no WH's, so again youre wrong

Thats like saying someone "Abuses" the 11O%-115% Land base gains cap to get the best gains, or "Abuses" watchtowers by building 25% of them as a KD to stop thieves. It's strategy man, KD's are allowed to work together and strategize to win. If someone knows of a game glitch is different, but understanding how the game works and acting accordingly as a team is strategy not abuse. Monsters is a great bunch of players, always respectful, always fair, and hard as heck to beat. You have to respect that.

Yes we are. We do bite sometimes though. Turns out this age aint that bad for Monsters after all. Wasnt expecting this hard to get into decent wars. Looking forward to 6 or more wars again next age.
