Why are so many of you being pansies and shying away from wars? You won't war unless you get the button, you have more networth, no dragons, and whatever other BS reason you come up with.
This is a WAR GAME. Why aren't you warring? So what if you lose, this game is for wars.
If you just want to grow your land, go play Sim City.
If you just want honor, go play Medal of Honor.
FFS, quit warring only if you know you can win.
Go give a button to a kingdom with more troops / land / nw / stronger TM provinces and then you won't have to cry about not getting wars. So what if you lose, this game is for wars.

Try pressing the button next time someone wave your kingdom insted of crying that no one ever wan to war you.
Not everyone want to fight a war they can't win, so if it is oblious that they have a disadvantage they will not fight, who can blame them, all you can do is chose diffrently if you want your kingdom to war regardless of the outcome.
I think the best wars comes from rougthly balanced situations, for instance one kingdom got 1 or 2 more attackers but the other got the biggest attacker or the more pumped provinces, minor things that gives advantages and disadvantages to both sides, but doesn't mean much the longer the war goes on.

As a side note: lot's of kingdoms with 4-5 wars under their belt. If you can't find war, you're obviously just terribly bad at what you're doing. Get better instead of complaining. Back to the gym.
As a second side note: empty your pool on all provinces, I'm sure you'll get waved. Take it to war. You might loose, but so what?

Again it's a mechanics thing now losing a war can be extremely painful. Seeing most wars start with both sides quading each other and even chaining tms right off the bat. So people are cautious down right cowards especially the bigger you get. But if you stay in the ghetto finding wars is generally simple. Once you get in the top 10 to 20 it can be frustrating finding wars.
He does have a point though, some KDs are so ridiculous in their terms and rage when they get waved.

You can try being like one of the monarchs in this thread to try for war. We were in an extended hostile with another kd and finally closed that out with CF but most of us were severely damaged since it never went to war and we never had a cf to recover. Tons of vultures and kds pushing to war us all of a sudden. we had a 2 prov advantage on the kd that we warred for sake of eowCF but we had average of about 6 epa across the board with many of us on less than 5 dspa. We were still told we had all the advantages :/ Ended up losing for obvious reasons.
^^ you can try that method and maybe some kd will war you just to get a cf to rebuild with.
Always found "war" to be a tool to either grow or gain honor... not the entire direction of the game.

Used to be, now if you aren't top 20 and aren't in war, you can expect to get waved pretty regularly. You usually have two options at that point.. Bend over and take it (ask for a CF) or take it to war.Quote:

Tagging hostile and randomming means that you deserve to be full on waved by any kingdom that you random regardless of how your hostilities are going.
People who random into hostile tagged kingdoms are called scum, but atleast you know what you that they won't respect your hostilities and can repay them in kind. People who random out while tagged hostile are worse.
If that were true, we wouldn't get randoms. Armies get grounded when war is imminent. We stopped tagging, because we get hit less.Quote:
