what made you do it? what lead to it?
why was it an error?
<+octobrev> they waved us a couple days in but we figured it was just a ghetto warring kd based on their early moves
<+octobrev> as soon as we sorted out that it was FS withdraw discussion started
<+octobrev> because aint nobody got time for all that
<+octobrev> it would had taken a week to turn it around
<+octobrev> which was way more time then we were willing to spend on it
how long have you been playing?
<+octobrev> i think i first logged in when i was 15!
<+octobrev> didnt really start playing though until the mid age 30s
<+octobrev> when i found irc <3
<+octobrev> and all the goodness that comes with it
who was your mentor?
<+octobrev> my dad Realest of course! he took me in when i was a complete badkid and oriented me in the right direction.
<+octobrev> phiwha/themango, dirty, elit were all pretty important as well
<+octobrev> though they came along a little bit later
<+octobrev> and the troll chief syntico!
who besides octobrev do you consider the best player currently in game?
<+octobrev> its so hard to know whos playing with all the chat apps these days :(
<+octobrev> the community has scattered
<+octobrev> i think Dirty is still semi-actively playing in CR though
<+octobrev> but heavily overshadowed by the lovely-king zauper
<+octobrev> secondary pick would have to be Lennox of Playboys fame over in emeriti this round
<+octobrev> i really wanted him for myself :(
<+octobrev> ill try again the next time we diplo emeriti.
what do you consider your highest achievement?
<+octobrev> my cold, hard 13 crowns!
<+octobrev> im kind of obligated to support the crown count as per my contract with the utopian industry
<+octobrev> man i hope godly doesnt fire me :(
what is something you still want to achieve?
<+octobrev> im still looking for a cool feature after selling my stock in CR before their b2b2b
<+octobrev> either a b2b2b of my own or a triple crown would be wonderful on the shelf
<+octobrev> or if i could just quit that would be great too!
what keeps you playing utopia?
<+octobrev> the people of course!
<+octobrev> i hate them all so so much.
<+octobrev> gotta make them quit!
if you could change one thing in utopia, what would it be?
<+octobrev> id make me a moderator so i can clean up the town we love!
<+octobrev> theres so much cheating and foul play
<+octobrev> it really breaks my heart.
<+octobrev> i suppose working in some of the roleplay aspects again might be nice
<+octobrev> new players used to be confronted with a textual description of the races and personalities
<+octobrev> now they just get slapped in the face with the age-change numbers
<+octobrev> roleplayers always made up the lions share of the targets :(
what is the best piece of advice you can give a new player starting out?
<+octobrev> networking is central! much more important than buildings or strategy.
