Banned for using the word nubface?

This is another event in a series of incidents. First the kd X gets deleted and reinstated, deleted for no apparent reason. Then the kd of Beware gets deleted and reinstated.
And now, Screwups. They have all one thing in common, they are part of the alliance Covenant.

But what I react the most to, is the reason why Screwups monarch just got deleted.
In an email to the monarch, OMAC said he was deleted because he posted the word "nubface" in ingame forums.

We all know about the profanity rule. We don't post f***, a** and words like that. It's common knowledge.

But when on earth did nubface get placed on this list? This is ****** ridiculous! Nubface is a perfectly normal word, consisting of two words, nub and face. NUBFACE NUBFACE NUBFACE!


So what the hell is this, OMAC? Are you deliberately trying to kill the game? If nubcake is profanity, you gotta make it known first. And atleast give a damn warning.


If this is the way it's going to be, utopia might aswell just die.

I was hoping OMAC could bring new life to the game, but maybe I had too high hopes....

Well, reasons for deleting are rly weird, as well as occasions during which they were deleted.

Not sure bout X and Screwups, but BeWare was in active hostile according to AR. Warcry got deleted during war (fake or farm, not important). Lords Of Conflict got 4 (or 3) deleted during war with Fairy Tales HaJ, Revolution Lotus got one deleted too. Etc etc, I have couple more but this is enough for now. Coincidence is that all of them were pretty much active at the times of deletions.. That makes me to conclude that OMAC is scanning kds who show high activity.

Interesting thing with Revolution Lotus was that deleted province was regular one (not traded or anything). OMAC apologized and said that they don't know how regular province got onto a list.. Weird, isn't it?

P.S. My old kd was also in war during last few days, they didn't get anyone deleted, no matter they have like 6-7 mismatch countries amongst 22 provs.. But they didn't have activity too..

P.P.S. All reinstated provs I noticed were returned as awaiting activation. All except beware's bank, who was brought at initial size.. (Plz correct me if I am wrong)

I was called an idiot couple of days ago. What happened to that prov? Nothing, we had to kill it off after war..

As for this I think it explains why bank got reinstated at 7k or so acres.

Well OMAC isn't Mehul. They can do things differently if they want

.. but there is incentive for OMAC not to delete too many people because they are still in the stages of reviving the game that they just paid whatever sum of money for.

However, resetting WarCry's provinces was still better than nothing. It served as a warning to other kingdoms, as well really messing up WarCry cuz it'll take them a long time to rebuild

We are doing things slightly differently to how it was handled before.

For example I try to reply personally to the vast majority of cheat reports / support tickets that come in. As I understand it this was not done very often in the past.

Okay, good to hear. I may have overreacted like usual.

But still, you should see my inbox ingame sometimes, calling ppl nub and unpleasant things is quite normal. But it's your game and you decide the rules. It's just nice to get a warning since we are not used to this. :)

But remember this is a game where you potensially have 19000 enemies, and you treat many of them accordingly.

X provinces were not reinstated.

OMAC game administrators are doing a terrible job with these deletions.
If they want to fight trading, why isn't the entire Top50 deleted yet?
Have you ever heard about login sites?

My province was hit a few days ago and I find that behaviour to be extremely unpleasant. When browsing for targets later on I found a huge amount of province with profane names, sex related names or using names of dictators. Why do you keep provinces named "Adolf Hitler" or "IDidYourMother" around but delete someone calling someone noob? You do tolerate that?

Furthermore, since the deleted accounts will be replaced with beginners accounts, these owners will either be forced to give away account information or raze killed as their activity cannot match the team activity. Is this what you want to see in the game and your plan to get more players into the game?

How many were deleted from Screwups/X/BeWare etc. all a bit odd...

i thought X got one back.. but i guess i was wrong.

the rest of your post is basically nonsense.. bad language should be kept to a minimum within the game. makes perfect sense. people however deserve a warning before being deleted for it.

and bad provnames should be changed by the admins..

Their latest deletion attempt is not consistent with their behaviour regarding province names and a lot of other things. Keeping bad language out of the game is fine. But you can't call someone noob? Seriously? How does that make sense?

As a side note, you can't call someone noob, but the game actually allows you to pick "despicable" or "wretched" when sending private messages. How is that not unpleasant?
