Look I know its a damn big improvement on where we were at a little while ago but its still a complete chore to even cast a few spells. Most of the time I half-surf, half-play to pass the time it takes for a page on utopia to load. Do something about it soon, please? It really is motivation sapping.
If you are repeating a spell or op like tog or NS, and want to speed up the process try clicking send op/cast spell then wait for the browser to go from 'connecting to blah' to 'receiving information from blah' then click again before the page starts to actually load (normally takes about half a second). The 'connecting' bit is where your browser is sending its information to Utopia, so as soon as its done you can click again to send the same info again and thus cast the spell multiple times.
Note however that if you lose thieves when using this method it will give you the wrong amount of thieves input error message and wont work.

Can the lag be fixed already? I'm sick and tired of posting in the lag's back thread every week if only to see nothing being done.
They're too busy swapping christmas-themed porn to bother with the game right now.
1. Make the mailboxes auto empty after 3 days as in the past & add multiple delete buttons
2. Bring back the 12 & 20 bonuses
everyone is sick and tired of the lag.
when casting multiple self spells, the first one took 6 secs (unacceptable in itself). by the time i got to the 5th spell, it took over 15 secs to load.
it's just frickin ridiculous. i don't see how anyone out there can even war like this
I know there has been a lot of talk about the mail storage taking up space. And yes it is ridiculous especially when a monarch send mass message and it stores every prov you send it to in the sent box. But how much space do you think is taken by the news? They are storing province news and kingdom news for the entire age for every prov? wtf? While it can be nice to be able to look back a few real WEEKS in your kd/province news is this really necessary? If you want to keep this info then all you have to do is save it yourself in a notepad or word doc.
1. Autodelete mail from ALL areas of the mail system after 2-3 days.
2. Autodelete all kd and prov news after 2-3 days.
= Tons of space freed up= Less to update each "tick"?......

why did they take the auto-delete away anyways? With the lags coming on and off, it would be really annoying to have to clean out the mailbox
It is very annoying to delete your mail as you can only do it one post at a time. Plus you have your inbox to delete from, your sent mail to delete from (and as monarch it gets really full when you mass message entire kd), and then the trash that gets HUGE and cant be deleted by yourself at all.....
It's taking 30 seconds per page.
Maybe it's time for them to blame "hackers" again until a random person tells them how to optimize their code so it loads in a reasonable amount of time, like last time.
