McKobb why post a thread like this when most of these people responding have nothing to do with our elections?

    >McCain get's no love it seems.<

Well, I hold no great love for McCain and his silly fighting evil antics at Saddleback, but in the interest of objectivity:

Remember that this forum is accessible from multiple countries and that Obama has way more love internationally than McCain.

In a US-only vote, McCain probably has more of a chance.

I would have voted for Stephen Colbert (that guy is the man!,) but alas, he didn't make it. For a while I was for Obama, but he's in support of higher taxes and moving America toward a more welfare/socialist state, while McCain supports continued war in Iraq while essentially looking for war with Iran (oh, and let's not forget that his VP pick believes in teaching creationism in public schools.) George Washington was right about the problems of party systems. I honestly wish there was a more diverse field of canidates to choose from in such an important election year.

Well then tell me how we pay for the wars and the bail-outs? The tax increases proposed only effect people making over 250k per year. They are not the ones hurting in this economy. The tax hike won't effect most people. It's either that or more tax breaks for the wealthy like McCain wants and more 'trickle down economics' that has been proven now to not work. Right now we have Privatized profits and socialized losses. Sounds Fascist to me...

See now this is the REAL problem with this country...We are too divided and fail to see where the other side has something right, and that's from both sides. I'm not a republican but I am a staunch conservative. I hate Hillary with a passion but there's no doubt in my mind she is the best choice at this time. You dems were retarded choosing Obama over her. Both are all about them first rather than country first but at least Hillary knows how to get s#!+ done! Swirvin...trickle down economics doesn't work, true, but punishing those who succeed with higher taxes causes them to cut jobs. Yes we must all pay taxes but as in one's personal life it's not so much about how much you make as it is what you do with the money...responsible spending! A flat, 10% tax on everyone would work perfectly if our elected officials would quit voting themselves bloated raises and then spending the rest on fruitless programs. Congress doesn't have a clue and never will, yet they're the ones who basically decide what is done with our federal tax dollars. And if you dems will pay close attention here...it's been over the past 1-2 years that our economy has taken the biggest plunges. Uhm...when was it that Darth Pelosi and the dems took over the house? Oh yeah...two years ago. And what has happened to our economy since? I do believe that trickle down economics are partially to blame, but the ultra-liberal congress has the bulk of our economy's blood on their hands...not the conservative minority.

I am going to assume (and hope) that was sarcasm. I am voting for Bob Barr in protest of two candidates that I can not stand.
