I'm initiating a conversion from pure attacker to A/T strat. Just appointed monarch, so monarch bonus in war will be utillised better if i turn hybrid.
Problem: Should i convert to full leet army? Will bonus pop from homes/sci be enough?
Edit: 53% draft due to land just gained, and currently still rebuilding from war. Will train up to 3-3.5TPA, hopefully enough to NS attackers.

How do you guys plan on being A/T with only 3 TPA? I have 2 TPA as non hybrid attacker ...
You need to drop those TG by 7% and get 7% forts instead.
The increased defence means you can send out more elites and you'll actually have a higher Mod Offence.

10719 = 2000x x = 5.3595 pts per spec
10000/5.3595 = 1865.8 specs to maintain 10k def
2000-1865.8 = 134 more off specs
10719/2000 x 2134 = 11437.14
Therefore:
11437 offence 2.134k off specs
10000 defence 1.866k def specs
using 5% of each, compared to 11349 using 10% TG.
Thats a basic example, replace Off specs/Def specs with Elites out/at home if you want, it works out almost the same. You might even be better off with more % forts than TG with your army. Plus you'll have higher Def when your not sending out, as opposed to having wasted offence when your not sending it.

Don't need 15% rax to attack twice per day in war. 6% with QF would do.

I see the point in building forts, but I reckon +10% defense monarch bonus in war is going to cover for that, or not?
In war there's always some unbuilt land and i will always have less than 7% you suggested. I thought just focusing on TGs would mean i need to send less required number of elites, hence leaving more defenses of home. It works even more so for elf 6/5 elites.
@Toadi: 3TPA + some good thievery science and TDs, should allow for 5mod TPA at least which should be enough.
@Dolgil: Aye, I think i'll reduce raxes to 11-12%. Still have to account for unbuilt land.
The increase from say 11% TG up to 18% TG wont save you as much defence at home by not sending elites as by having 11% TG and 7% Forts.
Just do the math :) Obviously BE and being unbuilt have impacts, but they'll affect your TG just as much as your Forts.
And monarch bonus shouldnt even come into it, its just that, a bonus. The more forts you have the more defence is increased by the monarch bonus anyways ;)
