    Attack Time

    Allright call me nub if u want i am just after 1 question

    what would be your attack time if you were in war with the following effects

    Being the class warrior -20% attack time
    Being in war -15% attack time
    Barracks giving - 35% attack time
    QuickFeet enabled - 10% attack time

    i have no idea how these things are calculated so i was wandering if someone could show me what the answer would be.

    Well, different bonuses are multiplied. And with these bonuses, that substract something (time, in particular) I'm guessing the formula is [normal attack time] - [percentage]. Thus in your case, it should be:

    (1-0.20)*(1-0.15)*(1-0.35)*(1-0.15)= 0.3757

    You'll notice that war overrides all other stances, thus it doesn't matter that your KD is agressive. I also believe Quickfeet takes -15% attack time, which is why I've added that.
    Now, these reductions apply over your base attacking time (16 hours), thus with all those bonuses your attacking time (barring NW penalties or fog) should be around 16*0.3757 = 6.0112 hours.

    i dont get where the 2nd -15% came from...
    warrior, war, rax, something else...
    so its really .44 (7 hours) for max rax as warrior in war =)

    btw, QF is -10%

    I got to ~0.40 => ~6.36 hrs

    (1-0.20)*(1-0.15)*(1-0.35)*(1-0.10)=0,3978

    Someone is correct. Is there still a 10% on-island reduction?

    You can get higher then 37.5% lower attack speed using the barracks this age. And in the past there has been ages where one could get under 4 hours if everything would working towards lowering attack speed. I think the lowest they allowed attack speed to be lowered was 3.98.
    the fastest time one can get this age is around 3.95 days. In order to reach this speed one needs max barracks, warrior, and the spell quick feet.

    Just checked in my war-room, yes there is..

    with the given input;
    Warrior; -20%
    Barracks; -35%
    QF; -10%
    War; -15%
    War overrides Aggressive stance

    (1-.2) * (1-.15) * (1-.35) * (1-.1) = 0.3978 * basetime;

    .3978 * 16 = 6.36hrs attack time just like Someone posted earlier.

    Nice to see you're not giving up at least, I like your sense of humour ^^

    Lets assume max rax (-37.5%), warrior (-20%), QF (-10%) and for the sake of it, lets assume its a war on (-15%) and its on the same island (-10%, not sure if it disappears with war or not, but heck, lets assume it doesnt for the sake of it).

    We have;

    (1-0.375) * (1-0.20) * (1-0.1) * (1-0.15) * (1-0.1) = 0.34425 of base time;

    0.34425 * 16 = 5.508hrs, rounded to 5.51 days which does not equate to 3.95. Dont come and say that its 'not far off', because it is if you look at the percentages by which youd miss your 3.95hr claim (youd need almost another -30% to have a 3.95hr return time, quite significant) - you wouldnt even be able to do that time in genesis (-25% more).

    Shush. Go away. Do your maths before you post.

    Doesnt BE affect rax? If so, it would only be needed ~120% BE (In your calcs) to get below 4 hrs.
    Dont know if BE can affect something above its max effect thought?

    One can have around 43% lower attack time from barracks. The max affect is not 37.5% that is wrong.

    Vines, it's mathematically proven that 1.5x25=37.5.
    The 37.5 would be 37.5% lowered attack-times from dedicating 50% of your land, running 100% BE, to barracks.

    If you have 200% BE, 25% barracks will give you 37.5% lower attack-times, but running more than 25% barracks won't do a thing, because THE GAME DOES NOT LET YOU GET MORE FROM PERCENTAGE-BASED BUILDINGS THAN 25 TIMES THE LISTED AMOUNT!
    Catwalk's crusade for legalized cheating was a stunning success, with ghettos and low-tiered teams everywhere losing their wells of knowledge to better kingdoms in the process.

    Step one: replace everything that works.
    Step two: blame the predictable epic fail on outside forces.
    Step three: keep the community informed that no progress has been made since the last update.
    Step four: thank you for your patience.
