    Elf/Sage - Help Me Improve

    I'm pretty happy with the way this province turned out. My only complaint is being able to keep my wpa high enough to fill A/M role, it's been more A/m...

    Any constructive criticism as to what I can do or could have done differently/better? (btw, recently OOW, build is still set for more of a rebuild right now)

    im not sure why u have so much towers and so few TG. im assuming u r the biggest (or one of the biggest) in ur kingdom? at that size i dont recommend u trying a/m. u'll have to dedicate way too much land and the power is really not that high. maybe lower it down to 7~8%?

    what i would do is lower ur banks a little and get more TG. ur military is very good, but i would lower it slightly and get 3 raw tpa and convert ur WT into thief dens. that way u dont have to fear being NSed down, and u can also do resource ops to help ur kd mate or even NS if theres someone close to ur size

    overall a pretty nice province

    We're recently OOW, looking to go into another war. The banks were built to re-pump elites. Within a day or 2 they'll be torn down and all that will be split between TG/Rax/Forts. So it'll be something like:
    8% Banks
    15% TG
    11% Rax
    11% Forts
    And sometimes i pull the guilds down to 15% depending on my wpa...

    Towers are there because I'm trying to fill mage role in a warring kd. I burn through runes like no tomorrow. I usually end up with under 50k runes by the end of every war, and that's going in with a stockpile of 400k+.

    I'm actually the 3rd largest in my kd. Hu/Sage and Gn/Ro bigger than me. My goal was A/m so I'm trying as hard as I can to not become a full hybrid, which is what your thief suggestion would be.

    Thanks for the advice, I'm definitely considering re-trying this as A/T instead of A/M, makes more sense I think.

    Ditch your banks, and stop pretending that elf works as A/M, because it doesn't.
    Go A/T instead. It helps out the weak elvish economy, and actually hurts people - unlike magic.

    Saves land, too. A lot of land.

    theres no such thing as shortage of a/m, especially at ur size. u dont have meteorshower and u dont have anyone near ur networth to do damage effectively. however u CAN consider teaming up with a smaller kd mate and feed him runes and let him do the damage

    the main reason to convert to a/t is because u CAN be NSed down by dedicated gnome kingdoms even with WT and clear sight. switching u to a/t will not only give u thief damage thats equal or greater than ur magic damage, but also almost guarentee that u wont get NSed down. as for nightmaring, i dont think any DE will be foolish enough to waste mana to nightmare u especially if u have enough tpa to stop any AW attempts

    as i said earlier ur province is pretty nice. but whats left is how u use the province

    and btw, 3 raw tpa and 10% thief den is not full hybrid, its just barely enough to protect u from NS plus some minor ops. a full hybrid will need at least 4 raw tpa to compensate with land gains and thief losses, but its not recommended at ur size, as an unbreakable big province (both to attacks and t/m) is far more worthwhile than a hybrid

    he has 84 opa without generals, its perfectly fine

    if hes a big province in his kd hes much more useful to stay unbreakable and aid team mates than to go nuts on someone with his 100opa, leave 35dpa and get chained down

    Firebrigade looks pretty solid, only thing i'd do is boost tpa and then swap out GS for your WT. Holding that amount of resources is risky too, spread it out in the kd if you can. Also, if you end war with 40k runes, thats probly 80k too much. You dont need that many towers to cast pitfalls and self-spells.
