Free Advice for the New Age

I am making this post in an attempt to cut down whiny messages both here and in game.


1. If you are in a ghetto and you chose to outgrow your kingdom mates expect a lot of random attacks.
2. If you are not in a ghetto and chose to outgrow your kingdom mates expect a lot of random attacks.
3. If you are a gnome turtlecider expect a lot of attacks.
4. If you are over 50% bigger than your kingdom average Anon is not a spell for you.
5. Regardless of your unbreakable ghetto defenses someone will break you.
6. Going to war with less than 2 tpa is like begging the enemy kingdom to steal everything, and kill every last military unit you have.
7. Guilds are for everyone if you dont have them dont cry when meteors fall from the sky.
8. If your kingdom is not among the top 5% expect the occasional wave.
9. If your kingdom does suffer from waves dont cry about the lack of war(pussy)
10. And this is important IF you come OOP without def you will get hit.(if you do it in some kingdoms it will be your own kingdom that does the hitting)

You can get away with this in the lower kds (which is who this is mostly directed towards).

There is nothing wrong with drunken attacking...however stay out of your kingdoms forums whilst drunk...no one wants to here your drunken rant on why you should be king....

I disagree with points one and two. If you out grow your kingdom you maybe a attack a lot or you maybe be. I was not. In fact up until today my province never really lost a battle. If was attack I was always able to attack the enemy and take more land than I lost. It all depends things that no one can foresee.

orly? I came oop a few ages back with less than 5k def and didn't get hit once.

in fact, no one so much as attempted a cb on any prov in my kd :p

offence is more important for coming oop than defence. but also depends on how the kd is setup. active kd, dont need much defence. had quite a few OOP's coming out around with 5k def.
