For the next age I'm thinking of going Gnome A/T
I was thinking of a build which looks something like this:
homes 20-25
farms 6-8
tgs 10-15
forts 10-15
guilds 8-10
towers 5
tds 15
stables 10-12
dungeons 1-2
1.5 raw wpa, 4 raw tpa, 5 dspecs/acre, 5 elites/acre, rest into ospecs. Draft high 60s-low 70s.
Would Rogue or artisan be the best choice? Also wouldn't mind other general comments.
wait until changes are posted.. and elites are ftw.
warrior or rogue is ftw. and id get higher wpa too.
id get some more tds too. theyre also ftw.

art is a bad personality, and with a decent TPA you can make use of the extra stealth
also, (despite claims otherwise) run all elite except for 2-3 defspecs/acre for dragon killing

now rogue ops arent that impressive....while both artisan bonuses and warrior bonuses are nice....

Given that our kd is at war more often than not, I think I'll stick with the ospecs. Besides, I'd have 65DPA with elites home, do I really need to turtle more than that? I'm sure these scary random-ers would rather find a tasty delf somewhere.
I'm still confused about which race to choose; I'm leaning artisan simply because I'd have 10 more opa, a better income, rune production, and some other minor advantages. However, I wouldn't have the extra stealth, prop, or aw. They worth it?
Rogue is worth it if you don't want to hit a lot, in which case you should go warrior.

Gotta love that the ghetto player VT2 comment players who plays in decent kingdoms :)
Ps: he may be right about nw inflations, but turtling ability worth a lot more than those superhigh nw caused by +1.25 nw/elite troops compared to off specs.
All age I've been hearing the hype about NW inflation and the need to go with specs. I went all elite and worked like a gem, so there. Discussion over, I won.
