When is the best time to send a dragon, during a wave or during the war itself?

depends on dragon and purpose, dragons sent in war are stronger than those sent in hostile though.

unless you have millions saved up for a second and third dragon, sending a hostile dragon is a huge waste @ half strength

I would say either get it sent for your first wave in war if you are declaring, or dont send it until you get past 48h and you want them to withdraw.

If they launch one and you can afford to send one before theirs takes flight, definitely do it.

i doubt hostile is 50% strength.

i think hostile is 75% then war time is 100% =)

Also, you need mutual hostility to get 75% strength.

so in beginning a wave, a kingdom can start a dragon just to intimidate...but if they wait until war to finish it, it would take off in full strength right?
