I can understand there are so few Orcs, but there are more gnomes than id thought.
Less dwarfs and slightly more elfs than Id have imagined too.
but.. meh.. we all know polls dont account for anything (esp when some vote more than once!)
And didn't this thread start when only the preliminary changes had got posted? the preliminary and final changes would give quite different results regarding elves.
I'm going with human/sage for WoL and gonna try Elf/Mystic of War Hero for Genesis.
with sage sage giving a book for every 2 acres now, It will be easy to maintain a good science throughout the age and with the 6/3 elite and 0/6 def spec, humans have a very good military especialy with pumped science.
Elf or Dwarf will probably be my choice!

I'm going DE/Rogue.DE gets +1stealth every hr with changes,and the rogue personality gets +1 stealth also,for a total of +2 stealth/hr.TOG will help my science,the elite Drow went down to 800 g.c. I am going DE because my KD chose DE over Elf.I really like Elf this age with the changes,QF and Fog,-50% losses,50% less wages-which are huge for the Elf because they have such a crappy economy.They have the craziest spells in the game and can take a beating.But for some reason I'm gonna be a DE :p
I'll go Human because that is what vines will take.
If vines picks Humans, then Humans are obviously the best.

Altough i dont play i would pick elf merchant.
20 elf merchant for attackers + 1 elf mystic A/M for magery backup + 2 gnome mystic for MS/other T/M stuff, + 2 gnome rogue for IR and such.
That would be my awesome warring setup :)

I think we all agree that Orc is underpowered compared to the other races.
It seems that Elf/Dark Elf are the strongest races this new age.
I love how everyone is all for the elves, but doesn't notice dwarf or human.
Catwalk's crusade for legalized cheating was a stunning success, with ghettos and low-tiered teams everywhere losing their wells of knowledge to better kingdoms in the process.
Step one: replace everything that works.
Step two: blame the predictable epic fail on outside forces.

Elves and Dark Elves will always be popular, even if they where the worst races to play.
People want to imagine they are wizards thats why age after age Mystic is so popular even though there are far better personalities out there.
