    BE is under rated when it's played right!

    A good Dwarf player will be very strong.

    sigh, happyness was so much easier:P

    hahha *cough cough* yes it was! ssuuuuuree *erhmmm cough cough*

    as a dwarf you probably shouldnt let your BE drop under 110% (20% down from the 130%mark, and make sure your getting good Tools sciences!)

    130 BE + 10%sci = 140% BE -> 110%
    100 BE + 10%sci = 110% BE -> 80%

    its pretty common most non dwarfs run 80% ish BE and very common most dwarfs will probably run 110% ish.

    sweetspot is somewhere around 10ppa for jobs (I think) but you need good houseing for it, so as long as your not below the 10ppa mark just keep drafting, after that the trade off between BE and more army and the NW addition of that army normally arnt worth it.

    Ok im just thinking here, if my buildings are gonna work at 80% why not just run 80% buildings at 100% (aka run 20% homes).... if my 10% guilds only work like 8%, why not just run 8% and then 2% homes? wouldnt that result in the same benefit from all my buildings, but add a little pop for even more draft?

    AQJ to a degree, depends :P

    (not true for dwarfs) other races can resonably run 5-10% homes without it hurting them any.

    Why not for dwarf?

    130-> 110 BE
    compared to
    80% build * 130% = 104%.. the exstra 1,6 Pezzis PA(not factoring in Pop sci) should make it up for that no?

    im sure theres a mathematical explanation in #s to it but...

    once you go under 100% it hurts more than above 100% helps, not sure how else to explain it.

    (0.5 * (((Peasants + prisoners / 2) / [.67 * Total Jobs]) + 1)) * Sci + Race bonus

    someone good with math show through math why returns are bigger on BE increses at lower BE %s?

    anyways,....

    10% jump in BE from 70% is 70%->80 (100-80/70 = 14.2% incresse)
    10% jump in BE from 100% is 100% -> 110% ( 100-110/100 = 10% incresse)

    both times its 10% improvement, but the differnce of your total BE is alot higher at lower amounts.

    theres other reasonings like mentioned before that have to do with the BE forumla.

    anyways,... dwarfs dont run homes.

    yes:

    (0.5 * (((Peasants + prisoners / 2) / [.67 * Total Jobs]) + 1)) * Sci + Race bonus

    thats how its calculated I think, and its just a simple +30% there at the end in the case of being a dwarf ;)

    BE race mod and sci mod breaks the rule on multiplying. Those are added.

    If it's broke, fix it.
    If it's not, don't.
    If you do not like the results, change your methods.
    Quit making the same old mistakes. Make new ones.
