seiken densetsu is secret of evermoore and SD2 is secret of mana
no. seiken densetsu means something like "the holy sword". the first game was called that, or final fantasy adventure. the second game is seiken densetsu 2: secret of mana. seiken densetsu 3 is not a followup on secret of mana, it was only released in japan and there just called seiken densetsu 3 (also fansubbed on rom). then came legend of mana, sword of mana etc etc.
seiken densetsu 2 has the added title secret of mana tho.

The problem with the game in question, and the reason why it wasn't released outside of Japan, is that it has a lot lower production-value than you'd expect from Square.
Still, it's fun at times.

I miss the good old 2d games, with good stories! I miss turn based rpgs.. *cries* why do people care so much about good grafics even if it comes from a game with crappy gameplay/story?
ps. I have fallout3 (bought it on release day) and its nothing like 1-2.
The vats system isnt good enough and your left feeling like your playing a FPS game. (oh and boy does h2h weapons and such SUCK in fps games (in the old fallout h2h worked well))
