It is much quicker to login now.
We shall pretend that your love of it somehow makes us having only 7k~ or so active players around worth it.
Catwalk's crusade for legalized cheating was a stunning success, with ghettos and low-tiered teams everywhere losing their wells of knowledge to better kingdoms in the process.
Step one: replace everything that works.
Step two: blame the predictable epic fail on outside forces.
Step three: keep the community informed that no progress has been made since the last update.
Step four: thank you for your patience.
Agreed. Once you got the thing setup, it seems quite nice.
Though i wonder whether login from external sites will still be possible when server crashes put the frontpage down. If not, then they better make sure the servers are strong enough
Groovy!
The issue i see with this is that with the change people will find its blocked by school and work filters now, where as before they didnt pick it up.
i know my work has a strick filter, and while it didnt pick up u1. it new blocks wol. :(
Isn't it just lovely how good the changes are?
Like you said, at least it's faster, and looks sooooooo much more modern. Never mind that people can't login as much as they're used to.

how is it possibly faster to log in now?
Actually, besides taking an extra screen, I don't have to type in anything when I have to relogin. So it's almost quicker this way.
I just boot up the Utopia main page, click Account Login, click my WoL account, and then click through the Swirve Security note.
If I bookmark this page:
http://utopia.swirve.com/accounts/account/game_accounts
I'm pretty sure I can skip the first step, which actually does make it faster than RE-logging in the old way.
Oh and, would it be possible to get rid of the Swirve Security Note screen?
