    T/M with Option for Hybrid?

I want to try my hand at being a T/M since I've been an attacker or Hybrid for 10 ages now and wondering what the best options are; here is what I was looking at:

    - Dark Elf / Rogue
    - Dark Elf / Mystic
    - Human / Sage

I want to be able to help my kingdom disable strong targets, but also have the option of maybe converting to a Hybrid A/M or A/T should we need it later in the age. I think we’ll be warring at least once a week for 2-3 days on average.

    My main concerns are:
    1. Is Dark Elf / Rogue a problem and not effective?
    2. Is Dark Elf / Mystic able to convert to a strong A/M?
    3. Is Human/Sage able to play as a proper T/M this age?

Also any further comments on this are welcome, also if you have another combination that you feel I'd have better luck with please mention that too if you would.

Thanks for reading this and commenting.

humans dont do pure t/ms to well.

if you want to be able to do either T/M or A/m or A/t you need a differnt race.

    try gnomes,elf,darkelfs.

of the above id probably pick Darkelf/mystic.
Sounds like it ll be the one to that ll do both T/M and hybrid the best atm, from the choices you gave.

Gnome/rouge if you would later switch to A/T
Dark elf/mystic if switching to A/M later.
Elf/whatever if when you switch you want the best attack ability.

its actually not that bad of an idea to play elf t/m first then convert to hybrid, cuz as t/m u can get some much-needed sci/honor easier and faster

Personally if I were going straight T/M I'd choose DE - no runes needed +1 stealth rate recovery per hour and if I wanted to attack my DE spec. has a +1 bonus making it a 6/5 and is quite affordable.

If your goal is to help your kingdom, don't go T/M.
Catwalk's crusade for legalized cheating was a stunning success, with ghettos and low-tiered teams everywhere losing their wells of knowledge to better kingdoms in the process.

Step one: replace everything that works.
Step two: blame the predictable epic fail on outside forces.
Step three: keep the community informed that no progress has been made since the last update.
Step four: thank you for your patience.

watch everyone rape me for this...
it requires some experience to play this race combo, but not necessarily experience as a t/m. and it does require some additional work to compete due to oow changes in strats. however, .... here it goes guys!!!... dwarf/rouge will make a strong t/m this age, as well as hybrid later in age.

    flamethrowers on!!!!

*cough* *sputter* - umm did you forget about the -30% tbeivery penalty dwarves have? How would you overcome that? Enquiring minds want to know.

Not at all Mynsie... I have totally remembered this. A 7.7% dens overcomes the theif penalty, leaving a 120% BE equivalency to all buildings left.

    WRONG <.<

    7.7 TDs at 130%BE = 7.7 (7.107 effect) x 3 theif eff/TD% x 1.30 = +27.7% theivery effectiveness.

    now watch this:

    dwarf:
    2.00raw tpa x 1.30 (30% crime sciences) x 0.70 (-30% RB) x 1.277% (TDs b) = 2.32 TPA modded

    non-dwarf no TDs:
    2.00raw tpa 1.30 (30% crime sciences) = 2.6 TPA modded

GL finding a dwarf that manages to run more than 110% BE even with their +30% bonus, so no 7.7% TDs isnt gonna make up for it.

go play your orc/shepherds with double plagues immunities!! as pure T/Ms!
    or your human/warhero A/M
    or dwarf/artisan A/T!!!

its really your choice and not someone elses. (only saying this because you mentioned orc/mages)

Ok so if I wasnt restricted to the above ideas I was looking at before, what would be a good Pure TM race/personality that could later convert to hybrid (either A/M or A/T)? For sure I know gnome is pretty good at A/T, but does it do well at the mystic side?.

good pure T/M would be a Darkelf. (Nightmares)
elfs/mystic works too, but thats only for meteors/pitfalls.
I guess elfs could do A/T too but.. wouldnt be that strong.
