with gnome, i like running ~4-5 d-specs/acre, rest elites =)
similar to old halflings...

you should be able to get ~5 d-specs and 13 elites/acre in quite easily =)

How are you going to be a honor raping machine with 2 TPA and your military?
You should really listen to other's advice and keep in mind you havent played for a very long time.

and sage on a gnome is a waste. You can easily steal OOW to pump mad science and with cheap miliary which gives you more time to pump. A rogue with gnome would be the better choice.

Playing Gnome Shepherd (I love shepherd it's such a great all round lazy man's choice!)

I'm roughly running 1:2, def:elite ratio
With 20% homes and 60% draft this allows me 5.6 d-specs/acre, 11.2 elites/acre, 3tpa raw, 2wpa raw and 100% BE with some sci. Pre war raise the draft rate and put the extra's wherever you see fit.

As I said, I'm a lazy man playing in a middle of the road kd and this works pretty good for me.
