    Land pool effect during war

Could someone please explain the Land Pool Effect?

I am sorry to post this question as I know the answer.

I need others to explain this so that I can get an opposing Monarch to change his philosophy. (He is using his news only to determine land gains)

It likely won't work but beats having to raze him to death.

Thank you in advance for your understanding and explanation.

You can't raze people to death, first of all.

Secondly, traditional marches take 10% extra land during war. It's very easy to prove - just post your CE and his CE in the same thread.
If he thinks the numbers have been tampered with, tell him to scan your kingdom with a CE of his own.
Catwalk's crusade for legalized cheating was a stunning success, with ghettos and low-tiered teams everywhere losing their wells of knowledge to better kingdoms in the process.

Step one: replace everything that works.
Step two: blame the predictable epic fail on outside forces.
Step three: keep the community informed that no progress has been made since the last update.
Step four: thank you for your patience.

No kidding on the raze comment. It is an exaggeration.

    I have already done this.

He has refused to listen to reason.

I figure if enough people can explain this the retard will listen.

    Thanks!

Send me a PM with locations if he hasn't withdrawn, or mentioned withdrawing, before tomorrow's over, and I'll educate him on how wars are won and lost.

    your paper:
Prov A (xx:xx) captured 110 acres of land from Prov B(yy:yy).

    their paper
Prov A (xx:xx) invaded Prov B (yy:yy) and captured 100 acres of land.

Just wondering if someone can explain this better to me. I am not the monarch he is against or anything but just a province curious on this.

I didn't know each kingdoms paper reported two different things on the same attack. When I make an attack or someone in my kingdom makes an attack it shows the same thing as we took in the paper and so does the military screen as the actual attack page. But in opponents paper it would say a different acreage and I haven't checked when loosing acres but do you then loose a different amount then it shows on your throne page when you log and paper. I am curious how this works. I assumed exploration pool was the random 5 acres province get every day for if your taking total net worth and land and reporting the change from when war started you take away exploration gains of the 5 acres

If your news report that an attack took 100 acres, you'll have only those 100 acres subtracted from your own total - say 100 of your 1000.
Now, in their paper, this will be reported as 110 acres taken, due to pool-gains. The 'pool' in this question is the acres you'll be shown if you click on the 'explore'-button.

Available Uncharted Acres: 7805 acres <- this is where the bonus acres come from.

    Retarded?
    Yes.

    Should it be changed?
    Yes.

"WHY AREN'T YOU DEVOTING TIME TO A CRUSDE SO IT WILL GET CHANGED!!!!!!!!!!!" I've tried it a few times, but it's always ignored, because it's not as important as, say, legalized cheating, changing from eight races to six, deciding who should have the magic-bonus, and so on.

so if the explore pool is empty, say in an explorer KD.
Would that mean that there wouldn't be a 10% extra??

Never been there, but since there'd be nowhere to get the bonus acres from, it seems only logically for there to be no bonus gains if the pool was empty.

I have never heard that question before.

I would imagine the only ones that could test that don't have real wars anyway.

It seems likely that it is the case though. Wouldn't that be weird. (but better)

Well, it seems that this thread has helped.

We received a wave of suicides then immediately got our MP.

    Who needs sportsmanship eh?
