    Attack Bug?

    WoL
    We are chaining a guy
4 good hits in a row using 62K op in 2 RL hours

My army returns 4 mins after the hour tick
I sent 63K op & failed? I'm looking at his CB & it says I sent enough

Yes I know he had Dspecs come in but should not the 4 good hits have kilt enough troops for a slightly greater OP to succeed?

    Drove me mad
Happened to my mate 24 hours later

Defensive Military Efficiency gets a temporary increase after you get attacked.

I assume if he gets chained it'll keep going up but I'm not sure on that.

It goes away gradually or after he himself makes an attack.

Was he an elf as well?

Happened to me to. We were trying to overpop an elf and 2 before me sent 63k and when I sent 63.5k I failed. I can only assume it was because the DME goes up after you're hit.

    Yes Elf Warrior

I understand DME goes up a byte after attack, but FOUR good attacks should have kilt enough DP to compensate for a small DME boost & any archers that came in on the tick. Four is alot even on an Elf & his millitary loss race bonus.

Question here. Are you using TGs and did you have land coming in? The land coming in would lower the percentage of TGs and that would lower your OME. Always, always use the most recent info and update after any possible change.

Taking the fact that a new cb showed you send "enough", and he did not cast MP after the first round of attacks. I say Dolgil is probably right and you had a slight drop in OME due to TG% drop...

Need to supply more information, chances are you simply miscalculated your attack. You took the CB after your hit? Note that there most likely is a random factor, as described here.

There does appear to be a random factor. I just attacked, oversent by 4% according to Angel. I sent 4 generals, so in fact according to that article, I oversent by 7%. Yet I bounced.

    'According to Angel.'
Angel is not Utopia - stop pretending it is. Learn math, then claim that there is such a thing as a 'random factor.'
Catwalk's crusade for legalized cheating was a stunning success, with ghettos and low-tiered teams everywhere losing their wells of knowledge to better kingdoms in the process.

Step one: replace everything that works.
Step two: blame the predictable epic fail on outside forces.
Step three: keep the community informed that no progress has been made since the last update.
Step four: thank you for your patience.

    I never bounce attacks.

I calculate out everything, military off, generals, forts, stance. It is easy and VT2 is right. Random factors......in maths.......

People suck, and just love blaming their failure on things.
You use Angel, which you don't know how it works, anyway, and you use it simply because Angel means you have to do less math.

Either learn how to calculate, or live with your 'random factor that caused me to bounce!'

The only time ive seen this was in a chain and the 4th attack also bounced sending the same as the 3rd .After rechecking all the info the provinces ME had went up considerably since the first hit and even offset the defense losses for a few minutes.Only seen it happen like this one time.

That happens a lot of the time, especially if there are tons of hits involved, and the target has massive reductions in losses.
