Well, what buildings are you running? You lost 1k horses and your OME went up by 2%, they cancel each other out.

Also you didnt draft any more with the new population. Raising draft and keeping BE the same would give more off than just letting BE rise.

well i did get hit and overdrafted up to 67% and just brought pop up enough to draft again at 63%
i was just doing any experiment cuz i didn't know the full effects of BE

it is better to just draft more :)
    draft goes to 70%

Your income went up, so you could run fewer banks and more TG/Fort (and thus more ME!). And even losing 1498 raw off, your off still went up from your BE increasing.

I'd guess you aren't running that high a Tg/Fort % - it matters a lot more when you already have 20% in each.

Be wary of overdafting. I've run calcs (and proved my earlier contention wrong) that show it almost always increases OPNW/DPNW... but at some point you open yourself up to PK. And it doesn't help anywhere near as much as you would think. 10% increase draft gave around 3-5% increased OPNW/DPNW for most builds. Constant income - so it was a "real" increase, but not that big of one.

(I believe shank meant vines would argue against that. But vines' instinct isn't that far off in this case - he's proving smarter than his rep. Not that that says much given his rep...)

Just be wary of playing with drafts in the 80% range. Thats what I'm doing at the minute and although economy isnt really a problem, losing troops to overpop generally is.

I risked being PKed on WoL when I had around 120% of my max population as elites away while being chained. Luckily as I was online I could release def specs into the dragon and aid out soldiers from my thieves etc, but if not I could have lost all my peasants and been in a very sorry state even if surviving ;)

Lost 1.5k horses, OME went up 2%
1.5k horses at 150% ome =2,3k mod off
    Left you with ~186k
    186k*1.016 = ~189k mo

That's why it didn't go up more :-)
