To take down that biggie your attackers can not. :) Mess with hybrids your hybrids can not. Fund dragon. Kill dragon.

Other than that, yes, the top post tends to be true.

    Purpose of a T/M?

    1) Maintain MS
    2) Unleash fireballs on target

    1) Riots
    2) Unleash NS on target

    I forgot one OOW:

    *Use up Explore Pool

Dolgil, Palem, Realest, Lestat - I'm being realistic here. Sure in theory they can kill dragons and whatnot but most times I've run into a t/m in war or out this is what they do for my province. In a couple of days I was able to get over double my science just from learning some T/Ms. What did I get in return? Greed + Riots HAHAHAHA! In war they are just massacred within a couple hours so all they can do is complain. Honestly, who would give a t/m the chance to do damage to you when you could just massacre them?

if you have a pure t/m in your kingdom, he should be unbreakable to anyone you're coming up against. silly not to be. also your multiple massacres on one or two pure t/ms are just widening my lead in land as i chain down your attackers.

In theory. Of course everything looks dandy in theory.

In practice the average t/m is a once a day logger if they feel like it. In practice in order to be unbreakable he needs significant forts or needs to be considerably larger than the other kingdoms highest offense attackers - especially now that orcs are a preferred race to play considering that they can get up to 100+ opa easily.

if they only log once a day then that's a bad choice of player for a t/m =P as far as def, even if he's not unbreakable completely, he will be as to massacre him their top attackers will have to do it, making them go down first. hinders the other kd more than your t/m that only took a couple massacres.

p.s. if you can't double tap an orc with 100 opa, you're obviously fighting a losing battle.

To reach 100 OPA they don't really need to sacrifice a hell of a lot of defense. Assuming 20% TG, lord honor, and 4 generals that's what 8-9 epa? With a decent science that leaves them with 17-19 units remaining for peasants, def specs, thieves, and wizards. I wouldn't call that double tap material at all unless you too have great opa and then you will likely be in more double tap trouble than them (unless you too are an orc).

1 a day loggers playing t/m is a bad decision by an obviously inept leader, since he let this inactive play one.

double your science? either you are learning a prov from 4 ages ago, or you had no science to begin with.

your t/m is breakable? bad leadership

massacre a t/m? thanks being my chain target (even though breaking the t/m should not have been possible to begin with but lets say you do)

I'm being perfectly realistic here. This isnt theory-topia. These are battle tested strategies from the top 10.
