Retal Policy

My kingdom is an average warring kingdom. We've managed a couple of wins every age, and so is this age.

I have some questions and would like to hear it out from some of the experienced ppl here. It's about kingdom diplomacy.

I always retal hits into my kingdom - except very big kingdoms. After a few wins, my kingdom is starting to get the attention of those "big vultures" out there. Every now and then, we'll get a few attacks from them.

And of course, a few hits won't hurt much. But I don't quite like the feeling of being treated as pushover. Half of my kd are played by skilled old-timers, and we don't rank ourselves lower that those from "big kingdoms". Problem is - we can't war them due to the massive size difference.

IF you're in my place, what would you do?
1. Retal them back - never tried before
2. Leave them, and bully other ghetto kingdoms - have done this many times (till I felt a bit sorry for them)

They should inplant something like kingdomes cant hit in other kingdomes whit less then 80% NW or something, lol.

That would really screw up the "top kingdomes" haha..

this thread should be in strategy.

wenjie, kingdom networth differences favor the smaller kingdom, so often times its better to retal. If you have one prov who has outgrown the rest of your kingdom, losing some acres won't really hurt you. But if the situation is a small prov from the big kingdom is hitting into your average sized provinces, then you should retal 1 for 1. You'll take more acres than them per hit, so they'd likely move on to easier targets.

Yea, if you think that you would win a war against them if you were the same size, be aggressive about it. If they are just vultures, they'll go away when you put up a good fight. If they are actually looking for a war, that's just pathetic and they need to lose lol

So, that means retal them right? Ok, we'll retal those Abs kingdoms then :D

No way any side will have the war button, it's like >200% of our kingdom size. They're just merely vultures, trying to take what we've earned from hard-fought wars. One of my guys got pissed and retal for around 400 acres - 2x more than what he lost LOL...
