So, just a little bit about us:
We're VERY active, but we don't do a lot of heavy coordination (full-KD waves, soldier-spiking, or etc). We chain, and coordinate, but we don't require specific appearances at wave dates. We usually war heavily, sometimes as much as 10x an age. We seldom lose more than 1 or 2, and we've been first or second in the war wins race the last 2 ages.
Usually, I cap exploring at 125 acres, since we war right OOP. So, don't expect to explore and don't expect to be T/M. We usually go full hybrids. We seldom mandate 1 race/pers, although it has been done in the past. Often certain races/personalities are recommended and encouraged, but usually options are given and usually some races/personalities are outright forbidden.
Our irc usage is fairly light unless we're in war, but even then we're not full irc by any means. I still have some stragglers on AIM and MSN. I'm pushing to change that, but it's not a slam-dunk, and I'm not eager to start booting otherwise solid performers over it.
We do mandate activity in wars, and will boot chronic under-performers. I run a tight ship, but not a SKD. There remains some flexibility, but obedience is also expected, especially in terms of retaliations. I forbid exploring without express permission. I forbid land-grabs when not in war without permission. But, so long as you can pledge 2 attacks per day in wars and 7 days of activity each week, are comfortable with following directions, are looking for an exciting kingdom to play and war in, and can handle discussion/debate without flying off the handle and throwing a tantrum/quitting, you'll find a good fit here and meet some solid, like-minded people.
It may sounds strange at first, but there's advantages to our style of play. It avoids a lot of the aggravations you usually find in utopia. We seldom get waved. We rarely get randomed, and we kick a lot of butt. We grow mostly in wars and when there's no war, the smaller people are allowed to grab land to even out the acre distribution. When OOW, most of our time is spent getting ready for war again so we can commence waving for hostiles ASAP. Mostly through plunders, or if you're war-ready, learns.
We'll often war every week, all age long. We try to find a war immediately OOP, and we're often warring the last days of the age. Sometimes, we'll war for 7 days, just to force the win. Usually, our wars are decided in 2-4.
