Lemme simplify it another step:

50% homes
20% rax
15% tg
15% forts

Powerhouse strat. High opa. High dpa. Low attack time. Vulnerable to ops. Get ur t/ms to take care of that. And it only works as a kd strat. Sure, it gets chained.

U sure 25% homes give u 100% raw BE vines? That takes 12.5 peasants per acre.

Get a mystic in ur kd to supply runes for u.

1. Thread necromancy is fubar. Don't do it
2. Anyone looking at Vines' original guide would notice the biggest problem here: He's assuming noone will attack him, and that he'll be able to compete with banks and cow-killers for size (nuh uh)
3. As Avenger said... no guilds?
4. No banks? no Dungeons?
5. What T/M's. I don't know of one decent kd that runs them any more

Cash supply and more firepower. Population does everything. And you really think you need guilds to CB and minor protection. Magic shield and war spoils are worth the casts, but aren't entirely necessary.
