    Sugg: Stop Rune production

While oow, sometimes i end up with a HUGE supply of runes that are just sitting there waiting to be thieved/plundered.

I don't want to rip my towers because I will need the production in war, but it would be nice to be able to stop, or at least reduce the production while oow.

don't see any way of abuse for this

I appreciate the excess rune production. That way I can build dens and keep 0% towers.

that's why it's an OPTION, pathetic... you don't have to use it if you don't want. Could be a button much the same as the one to stop Wizard production

and Dlaf, i can't aid out the runes, because we are oow, and it's an issue for more than just me, or others have bad trade balances, etc.

and dlaf, for gc, you just up your sci so you go into negative gc production, but there's nothing to do with runes

Maybe implement a spell instead, that would consume runes but no mana, and do nothing?

This is probably easier to do than a new feature!

I'd rather the spell list not be cluttered with spells that are meant to emulate province fine tuning.

The spell list is long enough as it is and I do find myself pausing and rechecking the list for a spell occasionally.

It should be a user input in the magic section.

I find myself intrigued by the core idea itself, but I must admit I have never plundered someone for runes, ever. If I need runes, I tend to ask for AID or otherwise steal them using thievery so as not to waste the attack. Perhaps include a believable scenario where someone would want to do a plunder for the purpose of acquiring runes in order to strengthen the suggestion.

And if someone steals it, thats fine by me. Whats the end difference to the targeted province between having runes stolen away or not produced at all?

wait having a bad trade balance? As long as your trade balance is in your favor you have no taxes right? In fact having a huge surplus would be in your favor because it would mean that you have that much more room to be given a lot of aid to recover...? What am I missing?

The recipient of the runes will have a bad trade balance.

Well it is something based on an existing feature (spells) instead of something fully new. It should not take too long to add a new spell that does nothing.

Tweaking the runes cost would likely be extremely hard though.

I disagree, I think that we should keep rune production how it is. There shouldnt be something to stop production. It would make the game less fun in my point of view. I have plenty of runes stockpiled, I either aid them out or *try and use as many as possible, but we have been warring alot so it has been good for me to stock pile.

    Agree with Magn's last statement.

They don't need a new spell. Two provinces can cast lighting on each other. If they fizzle then that is doing nothing. If the lightning works runes are gone.

If you are new in a kingdom send most of your runes to the monarch and then incinerate them. It is a good way to make friends.
