Wouldn't that have made that race/pers a tad more appealing?
town wath is a nice way to prevent you from overpop if you are getting chained.
I never used it when playing gnome except for wars when there was a nice chance of being the next chaintarget.
in ghettos it might be usefull to put up a little bit more def if you hit someone who almost can hit you back.
but I don't think it's logic to make peasants reawaken as soldiers, they never were, so if they would come back from the dead they should still be peasants
And thats what you find unlogical about this game..

Yeah that would get abused so hard. Free soldiers for the person getting hit. Very nice
