    What is going on OMAC?

After doing a little browsing, I tried to go to Jolts parent company, AKA OMAC industries at http://www.omacindustries.com/

However, I get that this is a suspended domain... What is going on? You are not going down the drain are you? Don't want to lose Utopia :P

Hmm, maybe they're henceforth to be known as Jolt or something?

    This account has been suspended.
Either the domain has been overused, or the reseller ran out of resources.

iirc, jolt is actually the parent company, and absorbed OMAC into it a while back. Most people still use OMAC when referring to the group controlling the game, but it should in fact be Jolt they are referring to.

Ofc, I could just be drunk and imagining things...

    omac became joltonline i believe

and of course they let people still go to jolt.co.uk which still showed the same content but wouldnt allow me to login until i eventually found that they moved to joltonline, and after i dunno how long they eventually put a redirect to joltonline.com

Posted on September 14, 2009, 4:38 pm, by breag, under Uncategorized.
    Brisbane, CA. 14th September 2009

IGN, the leading online videogames media outlet, and Jolt, the leading free-to-play games publisher, today announced a partnership through which several of Jolt’s top titles will be available at IGN’s popular game download site Fileplanet.com, as well as other popular IGN games websites.

Jolt’s flagship titles, including Legends of Zork and Utopia Kingdoms, provide hundreds of thousands of players with free-to-play strategy and RPG gaming that they can access from any Internet browser. Jolt is also publishing the eagerly-awaited Playboy Manager game due in fall, 2009.

“We’re extremely pleased to be working with the good folks at IGN and Fileplanet”, said Dylan Collins, Jolt CEO. “Together, we are bringing top quality online games to gaming fans everywhere – completely free-of-charge. It’s like Christmas and birthday all in one!”

“IGN is excited to partner with Jolt to bring some of the most beloved strategy and RPG games to fans,” said Jeff Steele, VP, Digital Distribution, IGN Entertainment. “We’ll continue to align with companies like Jolt to offer access to the widest variety of titles on Fileplanet and all IGN.com games properties.”

    Hundreds of thousands of players.
That must mean Zork has at least 90,000 players, since kingdoms has less than 10,000 accounts left in total now.
Catwalk's crusade for legalized cheating was a stunning success, with ghettos and low-tiered teams everywhere losing their wells of knowledge to better kingdoms in the process.

Step one: replace everything that works.
Step two: blame the predictable epic fail on outside forces.
Step three: keep the community informed that no progress has been made since the last update.
Step four: thank you for your patience.
