Files being automatically downloaded to my computer

As you can see, "internet explorer has blocked this site from downloading files to your computer"
Thing is, i actually accidentally clicked the thing unknowingly and I guess it did its thing... what happened is basically my cmoputer got a trojan... couldn't do ANYTHING when it began doing what a trojan does -- take over your whole computer. The only way I am typing to you now is because I used my system restore disc -- wiped my computer clean.

Is there any reason why there is a virus/trojan being automatically put on my computer through this website? I think this is VERY wrong and violates my rights as a user... anyone else get this?

oh and the log in takes WAY too long... Im beginning to wonder why I came back

Last night my computer downloaded a file pdf.pdf at random at the log on screen. I cut the power to my computer, and there don't seem any lasting effects, and I (of course) deleted the file it downloaded.

If this *Insert expletive of choice here* continues I'm leaving Utopia. Maybe I'll see you if the new code ever comes out.

I too downloaded a file...luckily i was there to see it. I smashed the computer with a baseball bat, and i think i killed the virus before it spread to the network.
