    first!

This doesn't sound too good imo. I am not that confident in OMAC, so I find it hard to believe they will be able to transfer our whole KD to the new code AFTER the game has been down for however long you need.

Can we get some information if there are any mechanisms to stop cheating on the new code? Looking at Beta right now it seems to have a fair amount of KDs of multis pumping up a cow due to the aid bug.

If I'm reading this blog right will the WoL accounts basically sit on the WoL DB and we'll have genesis & Beta running simultaneously? If this is the case don't you guys realize that this will contribute to the death of the WoL playerbase?

Let's at least conclude that Sean and Brian are trying.
Catwalk's crusade for legalized cheating was a stunning success, with ghettos and low-tiered teams everywhere losing their wells of knowledge to better kingdoms in the process.

Step one: replace everything that works.
Step two: blame the predictable epic fail on outside forces.
Step three: keep the community informed that no progress has been made since the last update.
Step four: thank you for your patience.

Uh, so? In this case, it doesn't mean a damn thing if the playerbase erodes before they feel that the game is ready to be launched... They need to work their asses off 24/7 to get the game ready for launch in a week, or slightly longer with an extended freeze that OMAC is oh so fond of.

    i am sad....
if WoL is down over 1 week we will lose ALOT of players and kingdoms...
#officialjerks a kingdom full of the players we all love to hate.

There is still no information about next round's rules. Will it be exactly the same as the Beta, and does the Beta follow all age 42 rules? Will you have a public feedback session about this before deciding? <<< really good idea

/me sniffs and says farewell to WoL

Nothing good can come of this. Shutting down WoL for who knows how long will kill the game. Lots of people will leave the game i'm affraid.

    Lots of people already left.
This was pretty much the final nail.

I'm not the only one, Bijo.
Poor little social reject - soon, you'll have zero people who need your cool tools.
