If I'm given the choice of no defense or no offense, I'll take no defense every single time.

It's still alive, even if the numbers drop. 12000+ provinces, many hardcore players. The avians has brought back a number of players I think. The potential is still there. Even if you're not a fanatic it still remains a good game to kill a few minutes when at work or school.
