First of all, apologies for the downtime. I know everyone is keen to get this age going and the server downtime is very disappointing.

At about 6am GMT this morning the server completely stopped responding to requests to the game pages. People could log in, but not access the game.

We've spent most of the day investigating the problem in order to isolate the cause. At this point we have a few theories and some potential solutions. We're going to spend the rest of today and some time tomorrow morning making code changes which hopefully will solve the problem.

The game is currently paused at Apr 7 YR0. Once we've made our changes we'll restart the game from this date. We'll give as much notice as possible. I can say now that we will not be restarting the game before 11am GMT tomorrow (Thursday).

It is possible that we'll have to make multiple attempts tomorrow to get things stable.

Again, apologies for the inconvenience and disappointment. We're working hard to put things right.
