in order for them* to decide what is the problem...
why they do not open the game, and let`s say let only 100 players temporary login to see if the game crash or not...
of course in the freeze mode :)

cause 1000 players would still try :)

Sell the game to someone who can make the game playable..
there are ways to limit to first 100 users only
Plz dont post in blue no one can read it.
Btw who would you pick to be the 100. Cause heck i want in.
random first 100... this is not important at the moment, in order for them to understand if the high amount of users trying to access in the same time the server is the problem!
Sorry cant have random 100 as there is no guarantee those 100 will be available. You could get 20 of them on.
but you prolly could limit the total amount of users to 100, making WHOEVER logs in first among the 100, then the rest would be rejected... meh what do i know, im an idiot :/
Download everyone back to the server we were using when Jolt took over - it worked fine - b4 they put their 2 shiny new servers in.
Let us play in peace & let S & B get 100 volunteers to test Beta again at their leisure.

Greatest strategy thread/question of all-time.
+1 for support of the game
only problem is everyone would complain as soon as they see 2000 acre province attack them.
Have separate servers for login and the actual game.
Make a que system for the login that shows your place in que, opening up a new tab/window or refreshing the page makes you loose your place in the que.
Players in game will timeout after like 20 mins.
Change the way provinces are updated so they dont get updated each tick but instead gets updated as soon as someone is accessing said province. (player logs in, another player op the province)
Yeah. They could always use a queue system for testing purposes I guess. But then again, the problem ain't freeze mode, the problem is with updating their SQL records and related to that: ticking. Thus the code is flawed. If it can't handle 10k record updates (with or without scripters) it's not gonna make a difference to let a 100 people in freeze mode because their will be no updating the records.
Oh...to correct myself: it's not only code but could be database or server related. However, that seems very unlikely.
