Firstly, we won’t be getting rid of Utopia as you currently know it. However (drum roll) Utopia Classic (as it’ll be known in the future) *is* being completely overhauled by a team of software ninjas. Let me be really clear on this. By ‘overhaul’, I mean on a technical level. It’s being migrated to a modern codebase and will be infinitely more stable than is currently. This process has already started and will be finished in approximately eight weeks. All current players will be migrated to this new version.

Yes, of course we know you don’t believe us. Yes, it will actually happen.

I certainly didn't see much of "Utopia as I currently knew it" in the beta version.

I mean on a technical level

so i guess "technical level" means a new user interface that's cumbersome, difficult to maneuver and causes you to have to scroll your life away.. not to mention it's just f'ing ugly.

hey Dylan, and B&S... "technical level" means a "new engine" UNDERNEATH the current User interface... not the inferior crappy piece of sh*t we got that looks like it was developed for 6 yr olds.

Infinity is an unmeasurable amount. In fact reminds me of the balls and vase problem, where the vase is filled with an infinite number of balls, thus is never full as you can always add 1 to infinity, thus infinity.

So it was never meant to be stable..

I think S&B are practicing the infinite monkey theorem on the new code. So we'll have a perfectly working code after an infinite amount of time.
