at least they're moving us in the right direction...finally.
btw, i made a post like this a little while ago to see if anyone else was having probs. i personally was able to make an intra-kd attack but nobody else has been able to.

Y'know how women and decent games won't let you do ops unless plunder is available?
Utopia is like their little cousin/sister who let's you do everything but plunder and mistakenly thinks it works.
Is to lighten the load on the server
From what I can gather, the old server had a greater load capacity built in. Saw an ad where you can rent greater server capacity for peak times. Our server traffic will be max with everyone trying to log in every hour til their armies are in to try & own or avoid being owned.
Once this is done the average person will be down to once or twice daily logins.
To have everyone put in all their server requests - spells, military sci etc prior to game resumption is a way to lighten the server load & get us to a place where the server traffic will be back to normal & the game can continue as usual without any server crashes.
By next age, a solution will be implemented to allow a smooth & easy oop. For now, the point is to get the game up & running the smoothest, fastest way possible.
