I am new to utopia.
I read many guides about how to launch attack. They are different and most guides are years old.
Many said "get CB,get SOM,attack". I found somewhere that there is no way to get accurate SOM with new codes.
Now I am confusing.
I want a step by step attack guide to launch successful attack which is up to date and compatible with this age.
As I made myself thief, it will be better without need to CB opponent.
Is this possible to attack only relying on SOM and survey?

Easiest way is to get angel. Update your own cb, update enemy cb, then input enough off to break the enemy's def.

you have to get a som+som calculator that works with the new code if you want to know the exact def value from som's alone though.

Although tbh, CB's aren't hard to cast. You should also get a lot of guilds, even though you're not a mage. It is more beneficial than you think.

cb+som will work just like som+som did last age
i dont know why but i think s&b changed that from the alpha...

the thing is elites and slos in the soms should be randomized as well
but because they are not its working like the old som+som

Does own CB mean copying my throne page to angel?
So I need to copy my throne page and opponent's CB, then get 2 SOM to get exact units at home and adjust the number accordingly. Right?

Where can I get SOM translator that works with new codes.

I think I will understand more when I start attacking after OOP.

its already OOP and i dont know how angel works because i dont have it
i didnt used angel in 2 years now because i have my own tool but i guess BG done what i have done and thats cb (that will get Soldiers Elites DefSpecs and DME) and also som (that will get Soldiers out and Elites out) to know the real enemy def value.... that's what i did with my tool anyway :)

you dont have to use any tool but i like to use my tool because it making the calc alot faster and plus i can know the real gain from enemy ^^
