    Exclamation Very inappropriate adverts

My 10 year old son was playing one of your games today and this showed up

<url removed, cms can still view it if required>

I would like to know what is going on. How can you advertise prostitution in a game that children play?

How can you even advertise it at all?

My son is banned from the game until this is cleared up. I would like to speak to the manager if possible.

    Yours sincerely,

    Robert

Adblock Plus and those go bye-bye.

Either way, it should be removed.

didn't you have to be 13 for playing swirve games in the past?
obviously Robert, you should have kept your son in check until he is 13. Now you ruined all the fun for him....

k nuff with the sarcasm, yes utopia/swirve/jolt/omac/earth has porn adds, what i care even more about is adds that harm peoples computers (since i care more about my computer than two seconds of disgust...). its been known for ages, and most browser games have idiotic banners anyway, so if you want to prevent your 10 yr old from seeing them, or even clicking them and getting your computer screwed up...... go with firefox and addblock. dont expect the developers to care about this game. dont expect the moderators of this forum to care, fat chance they will only tell you that those adds are only showing because your computer is already infected with something.

Your link should be removed, their are children on these boards. Yes something should be done about it. NO you shouldnt spam crap like that again. You whinge about your kids looking at it, and what have you done, spread it more.

    Think before you do.

    1) Why did you publically post pornography on this board? You put the html link there before explaning what was in its content and as a result a lot of people have now been exposed to it. There is procedure to contact the admins through support tickets.

    2) There is a tick box when siging up in which you have to verify that you are 13 or over.

    3) The game has no control over the ads, they are hosted by a 3rd party. The only way you can do something about it is by contact the admins through a support ticket with the offending ad and they are supposed to reconsider the relationship with the ad company.

    OR

download the adblocker plugin for firefox and all ads go pop.

    Hi there,

I have passed this along to the ad team, so sorry for the inconvenience. We have also removed the url from your post.

any chance you have the url of the ad RobertS, the screenshot size does not match up with any ad size that they carry so they need more information to track it down
