Now, the number of elites out in a SoM is accurate.
So just take a CB of the province, and a SoM. Take away the number of elites away as reflected in the SoM to get the defense at home.

yes, only the number of elites out is 100% correct.
So it doesn't matter how many thieves you send it is always correct even with 10 thieves sent?
even with one thief sent it's correct
Aren't number of sols, OSpecs, Horses out, land taken and attack times also correct? (I haven't done a som in a while though I must admit)

Yes they are. All troops out are correct, land taken is correct, attack times are correct, # of generals are correct etc. Everything except troops at home numbers and ME.
