    All that is needed for orcs is to have an increased chance of spreading the plague.

    Like a 40-50% chance to spread it per battle to others that are not immune to plague.

    Elf is fine, and if they are warriors, QF, pitfall + warrior bonus gives them a good role of being A/m. Good attack speed and damage to enemy military. Can`t see how it is a bad combo.

    Dwarf is a good all-rounder, but looks like the numbers are starting to look like they will be average militarily when it gets based on n/w, but they will be good for long wars, very durable.

    Gnomes, looks like they can have +5 stealth per hour when playing rogues. Looks very weak, but n/w wise maybe slightly weaker than Dwarfs on a military points p/nw. Please dont complain, they have the most n/w effient and cheapest elite out of all the races.

    Avians should make good A/T, better over all than gnomes for this role.

    Orcs are the heavy hitters with the best offensive effient elite, but at the same time the worst defence. Will be able to double tap, and will get double tapped.


    Why would you run a dspec on a Gnome 0/5 5nw when the eilte is 5/5 4nw, for defence and turtling the elite for defence for them is much better value and better for n/w effiency. Not sure why people are critising this option. Gnomes should be best race at running a low n/w strat just by looking at it.



    This would be the age of topfeeding unless they put in caps for both topfeeding and bottomfeeding.

    I would agree that they have made an effort to change stuffs. But is there really a need for 3 races (excluding DE coz it only has invisibility) for thievery? Elf is a mystic version of Human while Human is a rouge version of Elf.

    Just stuff that I have read and is pointing out: DE is gonna be a Banker instead of Human. DE + Artisan + Banks + ToG makes the best Bankers this upcoming age than Human Merchant. DE + Artisan produces (almost) the same wizards as DE Mystic. Elf is so much stronger than DE in terms of military strength in this upcoming age. Elf is for A/M while DE is to be turtle Bank and/or be Pure Mage? To think that DE is supposed to do the same thing as Elf with different but similar stats...

    DE needs 6/6 leets to be on par in terms of military strength.

    Give Mystic access to all spells or something to boost it. Dwarf Gnome combo is getting +2 stealth anyway

    Still, I glad Orc has the strength in terms of Offense but weak in def, magic and thievery.

    I'm curious too, why give +40% thievery to gnomes as well as +15% to humans. Seems a bit unusual to give similar bonus to both.

    people are not going to comment on the good changes, they are going to comment on what they think are bad changes. Nobody is whining. There are a lot of good changes. There are just some bad changes as well.

    I agree the changes are good. Humans can be anything but mystic. Elfs can be anything but rouge. Any race can be good in science. DE Artisan can be a better bank than Human Merchant. Orc can be tact to boost whatever it has or choose another personalty to compliment some of what the race is lacking. Avian can have a faster cruise speed and good at thievery (+15%) as well to compensate the weak economy. Gnome Rouge can be owning as an a/T, putting more emphasis on thievery. At least there is so much more good/ decent combination than what we had on this age.

    The above mentioned are all good changes.

    But then again, there's a need to boost the Mystic Personalty (Please give +1 mana per tick or access to all spells) and place more emphasis on Thievery Ops and Magic Ops this age.

    Why would you want to choose Mystic to double your guild effectiveness when you can have Artisan to do the job for you. Mystic personality has only Meteor storm as it's advantage. There are other spells to make up for the lack of MS.

    Still, when people complained about undeads, it got boosted and still remained fair, avians got boosted this age and remains more or less competitive, so are you saying that we shouldn't complain and make them playable?
    No. We SHOULD try to make them more playable such that no KD gets shafted heavily for picking a certain race. But then again just because you make it playable doesn't mean it will be played. (Avians got like what? 9% of the server). Also, everything for this upcoming set is technically playable (in the sense that you're not carrying a huge stack of negatives), but in comparison to other races like dorf they just don't don't stack up as nicely. So the logic here is that gnomes got shafted, and therefore if you're going to play with them you'll have to live with their strengths and weaknesses.

    But look at the big picture here. This is an age where hybrids/attackers shine. If you find that deep down inside you are a thief at heart, there's a race for that. Go gnome. But if you wish to be top dog and perform well as a kd, pick something else.

    Gnomes not having their pop boost is obviously a mistake / oversight / typo. I'm sure that will be fixed or nobody is gonna play gnome. And give them access to hospitals while you are at it.

    Orc and Human need their 5 def and 5 off specs back.

    Elf needs it's reduced losses in combat back and a small econ boost... say -25% wages.

    Merchant needs bigger income boost... say 35%.

    Give Rogue +2 Stealth recovery per tick.

    Mystic personality needs a serious boost or nobody is going to play mystic either. I'd suggest the previously used "towers are twice as productive" and maybe give them a high rune cost ToG aswell. (Neither are a boost to the already powerful DE mystic dicer) and perhaps make that personality immune to fog (since the server will be full of dorfs it would make for some interesting mystic combos).

    Dorf / Art Combo is seriously overpowered but meh.... about time Dorfs and Arts got a run at the charts. Maybe the tweaks I suggested above will make it just a little more of a struggle for them to dominate things. Maybe also give the Dorf a negative magic effectiveness penalty so peops at least have a chance to MV the fog off in war. Say -20% effectiveness (-20% wpa).

    No hospitals is meant to be their weak point. I don't mind bringing back their pop bonus, and doubt anyone really will object.

    They moved it to warrior and tactician. Having those might be ok so we can now consider a 'combo' race/personality.

    It's ok as it is now, combos nicely with DE TOG and human +income.

    Actually sounds decent if we don't plan to change gnomes. We can have doubled stealth regen on a gnome rogue then.

    Mystic immune to fog sounds strange.. Dwarves are immune to their own fog already it seems so unlikely to see it on another race. Towers twice as productive sounds ok, giving each personality a slight boost/change from last age.

    I think avian warrior would stand a better chance though. Out of war randoms are going to be hard if there were so many dwarves with their un-mvable fog.

    I disagree. Humans are fine without that. They get +1 to their defence and the boost to their elites more than make up for it. It encourages humans to for elites and defence only, but if that's a problem, go for a different race.

    Interesting changes..

    Just a few thoughts come to mind. I propose the following changes:

    Artisan: Building Efficiency : +5%

    Mystic: Mana recovery per tick: +1

    Shepherd: Population Limit: +10%
    No Birth Rates increase

    Merchant: Money Losses on Plunder Attacks and Thievery: -25%

    Orc:
    Def: 0/5
    Off: 5/0

    Dwarf:
    Def: 0/4
    Off: 6/0

    Gnome:
    Birth Rates: +15%

    Arrow Love the new changes! Nicely done.

    Only thing that's going to be hard is figuring out which personality to use.. They're all so different & all so good.

    Please take into consideration before new Age starts! :)

    Human:
    Offensive specialist 6/0
    Elite 3/8
    Reason: They shouldn't explore with cheap strong defend specialist since they have 8+6=14 highest off/def points!

    Dark Elf:
    Elite 6/5 or 7/3
    It cannot be attacker at all with current stats.

    Mystic:
    Maybe +50% runes production or +1 mana / hr and remove from Elf.
    Elf will then replace with others.
    It is the most boring personality since others have a lot benefits.

    Orc:
    Maybe should remove -50% honour to make it more interesting!

    Just make sure all races can fit into EITHER honour or networth/land top list.

    Please also suggest a ranking list for war wins!

    The more the war wins, some benefits could be given actually.
