    Hi Brian

May I confirm with you the following?

    The Artisan
*All Capacity and Flat Rate Buildings are 25% more Effective

    1. Is Dwarf Artisan's guild 150%, 175% or 187.5% effective?

    2. If my science BE is 15%, will Dwarf Artisan's BE come 165% or 172.5%?

    3. Will Artisan get 2%, 2.25% or 2.5% effect for library?

    Thank you.

lol you're asking him to do the math when he can't even determine the difference between additive and multiplicative?

    LearnForex:

    1. They are 125% effective. BE does not affect flat rate buildings.
    2. It will be 172.5%.

    Everyone is saying different things.
    Brian kindly help.
    Thank you. :)

Anyway, logically, BE and stuff should be multiplicative.
    Example you produce $1000 ALREADY.
    130% BE = $1300
    +20% = 120% x $1300 = $1560
Should affect the $ produce instead of the BE affected.

Anyway I heard many different stories on guild.
Brian is guild consider flat rate / capacity or % based?
    Does BE affect that?

    Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.

Forex, I am 99% sure I am right. I knew Brian was wrong when he said multiplicative, as did many. Dwarf BE bonus has never multiplied, and likely never will. And I am 100% sure that BE doesn't affect flat rate buildings. The Wiki says so, Angel says so, and anyone with a brain says so.

I found these in the wiki:
    http://wiki.utopia-game.com/index.ph...lding_Formulas

Flat Rate Buildings = Base Effect * Number of Buildings * BE * Monarchy Bonus * Science

    # Building Efficiency affects all Flat-Rate and Percentage-Based buildings.
    # Building Efficiency has NO effect on Capacity Buildings as well as Libraries.

I don't think guild is considered capacity building since it does not hold any maximum amount?
If it is flat rate, BE affected guild as mentioned above.
Or rather guild is % based building!?

Anyway, I saw library has 2% under "Build Table" flat rate column.
    So I assumed Artisan's library is 2% x 1.25 = 2.5%? or 2.25% (addition) -_-

Then you're at least 100% wrong.
BE doesn't affect capacity buildings, but everything (including angel AND the wiki and the Brain (but not pinky)) seems to indicate it affects flat rate buildings.

(Current BE) * Science + BE Bonuses
(Building Rate) * 1.50 (BE Bonus) * 1.25 (Personality Bonus)

And someone screwed up... the 2% is a percentage based, not flat rate based...
And it is unaffected by BE.

Maybe library is % cum flat rate based? Just like Bank? Hehe.
Maybe only Artisan can affect the 2% to 2.5% or 2.25%. :)
BE will never affect library I believe even it is called % based.

    WHAT?

Bank is both flat-rate and percent-based.
Libraries are just broken in the wiki.

    If Dwarf Artisan's building efficiency is 130% + 20% = 150% and not 130% x 120% = 156%.
Then Avian Warrior's attack time will be -25% + -15%= -40% instead of -36.25% ? Are you sure ?! Brian?

Are the formulas properly programmed into the system?
Are you sure only BE is different?
In case everything is an addition and not multiplication then Avian Warrior with max barracks will be -77.5% attack time. Cool !!!
If Player A is a non avian warrior and without any barracks whacked Player B who is Avian Warrior with max barracks for 10 hrs (example a norm), then Player B can retal Player A for 5 times before Player A's troops are back!

Player A whacked at 12am and troops be back at 10am.
    Player B whacked 1st time at 12:01am.
Player B whacked 2nd time at 2.25 hrs later.
Player B whacked 3rd time at 2.25 hrs later.
Player B whacked 4th time at 2.25 hrs later.
Player B whacked 5th time at 2.25 hrs later at 9:01am.
Finally Player A's troops are back at 10am while Player B's troops will be back soon at 11:16am.

    :)

no, libraries are a special case and are intentionally not affected by BE. wiki is correct in this regard

dwarf BE was the only racial that was additive before, nothing has changed in this regard.

and to all asking the Devs to do formulas for them - guys, spade it out yourselves. Since when were we unable to get formulas for ourselves.

Can you tell me the exact formula for the cost of exploration Bishop? Get back to me in a couple ages and you still won't be able to tell me, and then you will know that it isnt exactly easy to figure out the formulas.

no, but I can get pretty close, and i bet if i spend more than 5 minutes checking i can get the exact formula - also, why should I tell you?
