Island Question

There are barely any kingdoms in my island, how many spots open up after OOP? Does anybody know how it works exactly?

you can only see your own island for 24 hours oop. then it starts opening up like every 3-4 hours you can start seeing islands on either side of you (sorry i don't know the exact numbers).

so people with 3-4 kd on their island are gonna be pretty much stuck for over 24 hrs
