The Worst Age Ever - Overpowered

The name of this age should be The Age of Everyone Being Overpowered - Defense Is Useless. That's kind of a mouthful, but it'd be more accurate.

With all of the insane increases of offenses this age, everyone can break everyone. Did you hear that? EVERYONE can break EVERYONE. You may be asking, how is that different from any other age? Oh come on, in past ages, people at least had a little difficulty in breaking everyone. They at least had to try. If you ran a good attacker province with decent defense, you weren't able to be broken by everyone and their grandma. This age is completely different. All of the attacking numbers went up so high that defense is essentially useless. Well actually the only purpose of defense is to prevent double taps. Only turtle mages have any hope of not being broken this age, and they have to seriously try and run forts, lots of them.

Have you seen all of the dwarves out there? Having one class so overpowered really defeats the purpose of having a choice. Humans are second to dwarves. These two races really dominate the age, it's really ridiculous.

I was unbreakable last war as a Dwarf/Sage vs 25 Dwarf/Artisan kingdom. Discuss.

You were three times as big as everyone else.

They had provs that were larger than I was at the start of the war. At the end I was 50% bigger. Not that being unbreakable means anything. Offense is always better than defense. I'd rather double tap than turtle.

I agree that this age is a joke as far as defence goes, but that is what people clamour for so here it is. Saying everyone is overpowered is a self-defeating statement though because if everything is overpowered then nothing is overpowered.

Well, people kept saying top-feeding required skill...and now we have it and oh what a surprise...headline news, it doesn't require skill. Still provinces in better kingdoms do just as well as they ever did though.

I like my Utopia when it was balanced and people had a chance to actually defend their land. If you don't get attacked much, it's simply luck as there are so many people everyone can break.

I haven't been hit because I'm running a good prov and hitting into me is likely not worth the risk.

The only thing that's changed from last age is that people that are used to running the stone-age, basic turtle prov now suddenly have to adjust to the modern utopia.
