Any point in Attacking?

I played the first 18 ages and just come back. From what remember you either attacked or explore a T/M.

Having been out of protection a couple of days suddenly realized how hard it is when your in a crappy kingdom to grow as an attacker. Doing some CB's most people seem to have at least 50dpa and about same Opa. I think by the time I get my province into shape most people probably be around 60/60.

Anyways my point is to run a good province you need to sacrifice things like money/scence, which in turn means you can't grow as fast, and probably be lucky to hit once every two days.

Anyways running the numbers I could easily explore 10% of my land everyday keeping 90dpa 3 tpa/wpa.

Considering I'm in an inactive kingdom and small chance of war whats the point of attacking? I can grow 10% a day with very little chance of being attacked or grow 8% every second day with a good chance i'll get hit.....

without offense, you'll eventually get farmed as well, your only delaying the inevitable if you grow too big for your KD.

Try finding a better KD if you have decent activity. #recruiting on irc or check the recruiting forums.

Yeah, they don't count though - they are just ones who were fed to get up there and can now do what they please for the most part!

hmm what pmyraja said. Theres a difference between some new players who is a explorer in a ghetto and out grtows everyone and a top kd using a kingdom wide explore strat whos allied with anyone who can hit them
