BTW, Star Trek is a contemporary vision of the future (just as 2001 a Space Odysee was a vision of the future way back when).
I wouldn't hold my breath concerning its accuracy.
My guess is that if humanity makes it that far in to the future and ppl of that time period have access to some Star Trek shows/movies, they'll have a good laugh at our expense.
